So hold on, would these fit into the engine bay of an LS400? Some reason i can see these being too wide and hittings things?

FYI SSAutochrome changed their price for these Tundra Headers. Before was 99 USD, now they added a Y pipe along with the package and the price is over 249 USD right now on ebay.

Yeah guys, I just won a bid for a set of the headers. I had to go up to $213.50 plus shipping to get them. This was for a brand new set without the Y-Pipe. Guess SS Autochrome is catching on to the increased desire for them. Also seems that alot more the of Tundra guys are looking for more HP....Hmmmm.......Go Figure..........

It wont directly fit into the LS400 or any car.... It needs modifications.

yea, i would not get these unless you had someone to help you chnage them around a bit..im not saying that i tried to fit them in an LS, but these may be good starting point for an exhaust..although the price has gone up--the very good deal is now a good deal..

Those flanges fit up real nice don't they? David, are you going to separate or at least score those flanges to prevent thermal warping from taking effect when in use?

They do not have the best reputation. There are alot of pictures of cracked and broken manifolds and turbos out there. SSAC goes by SS Auto Crap on many forums. Do a google search for SS autocrap or SS autoshit.

I believe these headers are chrome plated mild steel, not stainless.

However, there are also many success stories. I would plan on heavily bracing the turbo.

Mine would be really just a test, and then I would definately have to modify them and also add tons of bracing. I knew about their website and pricing but on ebay it was a little cheaper.

you guys have probably heard me say it to much,, but for the price,, they are good.. doing rdms rebuild gave me the chance to take his off and look at them,, they were fine--but i did end up painting them all black.. the stainless discolered--but all stainless will discolor with use..

Here's a good question to revive this thread. Are the 2UZ and 1UZ ports in roughly the same spot?

Here's my idea. Cut all the flanges off, re-weld with Lextreme flanges and new turbo flange instead of cat flange, and paste. What does everyone think?

cant do that because the runners run into the flange and is welded on both sides, if your a machine shop I guess you could break the welds and all and then reweld but its a lot of work.
