manual conversion

im not real up on motor mods and what not, i need to know exactly what is needed to convert my 1 UZ to a manual, i also had a auto in my hilux previously, so i guess a start would be a clutch pedal.

a complete list of what i need, and any mods ill have to do to make it work would be great, also a rough price if you know, or does someone sell a complete kit for this?

gettin a complete kit from bullet, they have been real helpful, cost a little more, but i save on shipping as i can just drive down and pick it up, thanks for the help anyway

Can I ask how much it cost dude? and exactly what it includes?

$2415 including the w58 tranny, they said it has everything i need except the pedal

do they make the whole kit or buy it from castlemaine and put their profit ontop

if u do a search u fill find some things dont match up sometimes

some people have had diff probs here and there

so i would say do a dummy fit of everything

when people ask me about auto to manual kits i say get it yrself
i do not want to be the middle man when it comes to **** like this

i still havnt found any kits to be 100 % perfect every time

spometimes theyre ok other times there not

so its buyer beware

they did say they made it themself, but how am i to know when i never seen any other kit, however if it dosent work, it is closer to home for me to go in and ask why, if i got the CRS kit, it would cost me the same by the time it got sent up here

i got my kit yesterday, and it all seems real good, i just need to work out how it goes together, and help would be great, ill get pics of it asap, i spent a bit of time in the shop lookin at different things as well, top guys.

I had to pull gbox out to replace ring gear on my crs kit as it was too big so it didnt engage every time and when it did mesh it sounded like the noisiest sraight cuts youve ever heard amongst other probs

Hi bit of an Old thread, but did you ever Get Pics of your setup? i have Just emailed Bullet after hearing of many Problems in the others,
i would not expect a car worth over $100k to have troubles with bellhousing and ring gears etc.

i dont have any at the moment, i cat get pics of it all already on the car, if that will help, but i can reccommend bullet highly, im not great with motors, and every question i have asked, they have answered, between them, and this site, i am startin to learn things i thought were gonna go over my head forever....

yeah I guess if you can get a pic of how the slave cyl is mounted on the box, and any other relevent pics you think may help would be great,
