Hello all, I assume most guys that run swaps don't mind the DTC light being on or run the CD009, but it bothered the hell out of me, so I worked out a way to remove 'em if you're swapping to a manual transmission. You'll need a steel plate, 2 x 50 watt 8 ohm resistors, 2 x 50 watt 16 ohm resistors, and some wire. See photo for wiring diagram, this is going to trick the ECU into thinking there is a connection to the A/B/SLN/ and E solenoids. The E3 connector that was on the transmission is a grey 8 pin connector, if you have a complete harness it will look similar to the 6 pin for the EGR, with greenish sheathing. This setup is on a UCF20 LS400 1UZ, pinouts may differ for earlier models.
You can always check Charm.li for FSM wiring diagrams if you didn't know!
MAKE SURE YOU GET 50 WATT RESISTORS! If they're rated for less, when you put power to them they'll get hot / burn up. A and B ground through the plate, while SLN and E ground through their respective circuits. There are 2 more wires in this connector that I dead headed, one for AT oil temp and the other I can't recall. I mounted this plate off the side of my intake where I deleted the EGR solenoid, still hides under the engine cover fine.
