thinking about going A-T

I've been thinking about going with an auto trans. in my 1uz tacoma conversion. any suggestions?

Depending on the ECU you will be using...... There are two (first generation) 1uzfe trannies were used. A340E and A341E. Newer model tranny will also work, but ecu need to be upgraded.

At this point my thinking is that it will be cheaper and easier. Are the A/T's more readily available>?
