Please help, SC400 low rpm

Hi everyone, i have a 93 lexus sc400 which i have been fixing over the past few months. I did most of the body work on it but im not that great at mechanical stuff. Anyway can you guys tell me what would cause the engine rpm to be so low. In idle its at a lil under 1 rpm which is about fine i think but when im driving even if islam on the gas the rpm never seem to top 2.5. I previously drove my uncles sc300 and the rpms on that car would shoot up to at least 4 if i slammed on it. If there is any other information that you guys would need ill tell you as much as i can. Please let me know what might cause this to be happen.

How old is your battery? I'm not a pro at this here, but i found that a bad battery made my car refuse to rev high... (could just be a coincidence though)

if you're using regular gas too, that could cause an issue

i dont think yr problem is low rpm
u really need to explain yr problem better

i think u mean poor acceleration

low rpm i would think that is yr idle rom which should be 650 rpm at idle

sounds like yr engine doesnt rev out as fast as yr friends sc400

could be alot fo things

need to check for error codes

maybe u have an air leak or air flow problem
