Dune Buggy with 1UZFE

The 1UZFE EGR Delete Kit is available for sale here.
Ok, Now this is definetely a LEXUS UZ TT powered dune buggy on the dyno..First buggy and not the second on this dyno video...The owner claims it dyno'd over 450whp after a final tune and that dyno...Had a little back fire if you watch closely.. Notice the Lexus painting on the side representing.....It's a nice one and must absolutely rip... Maybe a little to showy for my taste but still nice...

I hope I am entertaining you lads with these thread links and posts.. Show me some love people, it's not that easy finding all this crap...Actually I can't lie it's pretty easy..:chairshot:

Hilux UZ getting stuck deep in the mud... This is why it's a good idea to have a winch mounted on the front of your 4x4 when going balls out..

These guys are clowns but got it done..... The video is 3 minutes but maybe worth the wait... Then again maybe not...

I am suprised the 1uzfe engine didn't bog down as the Hilux was stuck deeeeeeep.......

Jibby,

The "Clown" is Guts from this Forum.

The engine is one I sold him.

He's in a competition where he has to travers that bog hole.

The fact the engine kept going and revved like it did is testament to the engines strength.

Guts doesn't do anything by halves.

Hey, I'm the biggest clown of all... It's a silly term and not derogatory.. Small world though, hey? It looks like they are having fun, screaming and shouting and what not..Jumping in the deep mud to grab the winch, etc.....(hense the word clowns) Just like something I would have done a few years back with a brew in hand.....My kind of people happy and silly...

So relax fellas it's all good....:fest30:

Zuffen, the reason I believe the motor didn't die out is because the water and mud didn't reach the intake or distributer area in the motor, and also the exhaust pipe still somehow breathed under all that thick mud.... Been there done that...

Rod, that does sound like a very stout motor.... Did you build that up or is it stock?

Now onto "Extreme 4X4 ROCK CLIMBING"....This has become my good morning 4x4 thread... Hope nobody minds this popping up every morning.... I know I am entertained by these vids and I hope you guys are too...

These climbs are absolutely insane... One is a repeat, but the other two you could not climb by foot.... It's really amazing what these trucks can do. (some locking differentials, stout axles, big tires, big suspension, big power, a lift and a balls out driver and you may go where no man has gone before)

My mate here in SA has raced a single seater off road buggy with a Lexus V8 in it for the last 4 years. Won a heap of races and goes like the clappers.

Ran a Porsche 5 speed but kept breaking it.....
Expensive exercise to say the least.
