European buggy with 1uz-fe (lot of questions)

Hi Guys

I would like to build a buggy, with Toyota Hilux axles and 1uz-fe engine+trans. My friend has got a damaged 1993 Lexus SC400 and he sells it. In the engine only 100k miles, so I think it will be ok. I'd like to buy the engine and the transmission (1uz-fe + A340E), but this engine+trans have lot of electronics. I can do the mechanical part of the swap, but I think I have lot of problem with the wiring.
So before I buy them, I have a question (more later): How hard is the wiring, when I don't need any extra's of the car, just the engine and the trans?

Later I have other questions, but this is the most important

you MUST get the engine ecu and completle engine wiring loom (it is VERY easy to remove, it just unplugs from ecu and car loom), AND all ecu plugs...then the wiring is easy...

if you have the complete car then you have all you need..

As Zen said, buy the complete car and keep it as you never know when you may need apart from it.

I would base the buggy on a complete HiLux as the swap has been done many times before and is quite easy.

you can always sell the unused parts left over on ebay...
