Hey Gang,

Got the GT40 repaired by Precision and as i start the engine. This is what happened. I tightened the turbine and the CHRA to the max and made sure the whole unit install properly. Unstall and reinstall the unit about 3 times now and still leaking from the gap. Very disappointing and need to send it back again.

This happened right after i start the engine. I can understand after long driving or abuse. Right after the engine start oil start to spray out of the gap.

Long video, so dont click it if you have dial up.

hi lex, i have dial up, so i didnt look at the vid..but what kinda/size oil supply and oil return lines do you have.? generally, the turbos need a large dia. oil return line..and the oil supply should be on the small side..

heres a pic of the oil supply fittings and lines i used for the TT turbo setup.. it comes from where the oil pressure sensor was/is.. its still there, but i T it in..its difficult to see the lines, but they are common steel brake lines.. i think hey were 1/8..

Chris,

Its a standard bearing. I have the same oil supply and return its a 10 AN. No sharp turns or kink. I think the problem is the machining from Precision and the seals are not fully pressed. The housing is not orginal.
