Triumph Stag vvti, help needed.

Hi, i have a triumph stag which when i get the time will have the 1uzfe vvti chuck in. Might have a supercharger to through in the mix as well. This is where the problems start.

The thing is how much boooooost can the standard vvti engine take. Im not sure how much boost will be made somewhere between 5-12 psi. Is it worth changing the rods or pistons or both. Or is money best spent on an ecu.

Which ecu is the best for the vvti.

Not sure what to do for the best results. If you can get me a good price for all the bits then ill get the lot.

All the later motors have really puny rods.

Whether you're building an engine for boost or a high RPM screamer, they should be high on the list to change.
