Slow to start

Every since I started my engine the first time 2 months ago, it have been really slow to start. It always needs 3-5 seconds of cranking before it fires up. But when it starts, it runs really nice from the start.

I haven't really cared about this since the engine always starts, but after reading about David's starter, I have decided to find out what causes this.


Anyone have a good idea?

You I really regret that I ignore my problem for a little and now I pay the price for it. If for any reason starter is over stress will certainly shorten the life of it. So I would suggest you careful check the ignition and fuel system.

Maybe you should check the cold start injector !! Because I try before to disconnect it then the same case happen .

My cold start injector is not active anymore. As I am running a standalone ecu. But it does give a percentage more fuel through the injectors while cranking. Don't remember exactly how much.
