DO I need a cold start injector switch?

I am building a 1uz to put in an 86.5 Supra. We deleted the EGR system and the cold start injector switch connector is broken. Before I replace it I was curious if i even need it anymore due to the EGR system deletion.

Depends where you live. Does it snow? If it doesn't drop below 10degreesC it should be OK without the cold start.

It may not be happy but it will run.

I doubt my cold start injector has been activated since I installed my engine 13 years ago.
