Hello,

My name is Nathan. I live in San Diego California. I would like to take the Lexus swap to a different nitch. After the suspention/cage is built on my 1996 t100 i'm considering doping a lexus v8 into it. Some of my friends have transplanted ford motors in to their toyota desert trucks. I want to be unique and keep it toyota through and through. This swap wont occur for about a year and a half. But that wont stop me from planing. Once my 3.4 takes a ****, which WILL end up happening i want to do this conversion. Everything brakes eventually in my hobby. It's just a matter of moving your weakest point around. If it brakes make it stronger.


I'm current going to Trade school for Electrical System Tech. So i plan on doing as much of the re wiring my self. So thats a little about me. If any one has anything positive to say thanks alot.

I am currently putting a 1UZ into a Toyota Prerunner (2WD). I was able to find a bellhousing for the 1UZ that mated up to my Toyota R151 tranny.

Hi.............and good luck....

Just remember swaps aren't simple... You need to consider wire and electrical integration for everything, ECU, motor mounts, etc... Good luck and alot of planning should be in order... The early model 1uz-fe is a good solid cheap motor to swap in... If you ever decide to get silly and boost it, it will handle 400whp comfortably...

Ebay has 1uz-fe's for under $1000 delivered to your door step...Check it out when you are ready...
