yeah my plan is to swap in a 1uz with a supra 5-speed (w58?). I will keep everyone posted on the progress slow as it will be.

Glad to see you are going to use this great motor in your car. There are not many, if any, RX7 owners with 1UZs under there hood. Though the W58 is a good trans, i would go with a R154 from the MK3 supra TURBO, must be from a turbo MK3. Do you have any FI plans for your RX7?

I've seen some pics of a s4 rx7 here in NZ running a supercharged 1uz.

you'll need a rack and pinion conversion to make it all fit.

the MK3 Golf rack has the right length arms and rack.
