Header Flange Plates

Hey lads,

am having terrible trouble tracking down some header flange plates here in New Zealand to make my exhaust from.

every flange that is made locally is profile cut from a gasket, the shape of which is perfect for a gasket but is absolutely useless as a header flange as
it has the wrong size port hole and is missing lots of strength around the bolt hole area. which i need as it will be partly supporting the weight of turbo's and wastegates.

I need to make my own pattern and take it to a plate cutter and get the job done properly. To keep costs down i need to supply them with a cad file to work from as the majority of the cost is having them make a drawing for me.

Does anyone have a cad file that i can work from? or start work from?

I look forward to any feedback as this issue is causeing me great frustration,

I really do not want my headers to leak or chuf like an old tractor!!

i don't know how much its going to cost you 2 get them made but it maybe cheaper and easier to get them from the U.S and get them shipped over. sending them over doesn't cost that much for something that size.

i expect an answer some time on monday...

For Australian's you can buy 10mm flanges from Liverpool Exhaust in Sydney.

Around $60.00 each (could be cheaper as a pair) but they fit perfectly.

I got my flange plates on friday,
laser cut by north shore laser cutting in auckland.

$130 pair cash





they are just beautiful....

many thanks to whom ever it was who made that cad file that i used.
