cam shaft woes =[

so im rebuilding a 92 1uzfe and i have the block entirely stripped.

but i notice the exhaust cam is two pieces? and looks like the two halves shifted about three teeth off....looking at it, it looks like i should have put a bolt in it before removal i guess.

just wondering how i deal with correcting this

oh nevermind, the cam isnt two pieces the gear is...

i got the holes to line up with tension and threw a bolt in it, is this right?

Yes. It's known as a scissor gear and like that to prevent the cam gears from rattling. There's a little "Wave washer" that's only a couple of dollars in there which it pays to replace too
