This perticular black bear could care less about us, thank god..

Your Ex-girl is lucky that it didn't take off after her. The last thing you do is run from a bear. Always stand your ground and if it does attack, then play dead.... They are just like dogs, you show fear and that provokes them to attack.

Camp site bears are the worse cuase they loose thier fear of humans and are not afraid to be forcefull to get food if non is easily availible..... This is why the stive so much at national parks to get people to not feed bears or any wild animals for that matter. These animals are afraid of us but if we feed them, they loose that fear and then when we dont they can get nasty...
