10.7 is pretty damn fast...Good deal with the nos... What shot are you running on your 1uz?...200hp shot...I am running a 100-150 shot for a couple of years now on my 1uz.. it is starting to show signs of wear... Your torque spec's must be out ragous...

around a 200 shot. Its mainly how we tune our 1uzfe engines thats why we get more than other people and the fact that we make our own products. the auto makes it cosistant but I used to run a W57 5speed but broke it to many times. headers are 38mm ID primary pipes unequal length 4 into 1 with a 2 1/2 to 3 inch exhaust system that iI drop at the headers for racing

im going for an aggressive tune on my link as well, we wil have to with 1 5/8 inch primaries for around 200mm then steping upto 1.75 inch primaries 4>1 headers then twin 2.25inch secondaries merging into a single 2.5inch zorst, were are you based

We are in Rotorua. 1 5/8 is what we make our headers for most of our customer cars. Yes step headers work well but I wouldnt have the step that far away from head but depends on how much room you have. 2.25 seconderies is a little small and a 2.5 exhaust will hold it back and not leave any room for further mods like cams etc. We have done a lot of dyno testing with our own cars and customers and we have found what works.

To be honest im not sure its 200mm lol, i think from looking at the photos its only 85mm to 100mm distance. Hopefully they will work well, they are made by a highly regarded exhaust designer so im hopeing they will give good power. Alot of people say a 2.5inch exhaust will support 350hp with out any lose of power and give the 1uz better low end, 3.0inch may give slighty, slighty more power at the very top but lose bottom end tq according to alot of people that no 1uz very well.

We realy only go for top end power as most of our customers get us to fit cams and nitrous and nitrous needs big exhausts. A smaller exhaust will give you a little more tourqe. Basicly every one has there own ideas and the ones that work are always at the head of the pack. You should genraly listen to the person building your headers as they will know what they designed them to do. Its very funny all these people who say they know 1uz engines but have probably ever only played with one lol. Just do your home work and ask lots of questions of the people who you get to do work for you and if it doesnt perform demand to know why.

Good advice mate cheers! i will listen dw. Im fairly lucky cause my 1uz is one of the post 95 ones with higher comp and more agressive cams :) so it should go a fair bit better than most early pre 95 1uz for a start. I do want mine to rev well, its in a light bmw e30 so around 1200kgs it dont need alot of bottom end lol

1/4 Mile Time - best of 14.7

Think it could run a little quicker if i changed the rear tyres, atm there 20s, with tall rubber. But its not a drag car so im happy with how things went.
