lol. Jibby you a freaking awsome. why did you put 500 pounds in the trunk? did you expect better accel times with so much weight?

Well Anaema - First off that post is very old an I have done many things to the car since then...The reason I put 500-700 pounds of sand bags in the truck was I was spinning the rears way too much in first gear under the NOS with my prior set of smaller rear rims and tires...This happen a long time ago...I figured if I added major weight to the rear end of the car the rear tires would grip better at launch..Infact they did grip alot better but the stress broke off the driver side rear tire and rim, snap, snap, snap, snap, snap and then boooooom,,,screeeettttcchhhh...The the next thing I saw was the tire rolling past me and a spark show that was unbelievable.

The funny thing was at launch the front end lifted big time under the juice and the wheels really didn't break loose they just broke off.....Well one atleast....

My theory worked but the car could not handle the stress, I am suprised the driveshaft did not snap first.....Needless to say I ditched the 500-700pounds worth of sand bags in my trunk and got fatter rims and tires, what I should have done is get a progressive nos shot....Also had to replace the damaged rear spindle and rotor...Lesson learned, End of story...

****Come on fellas post up some dyno and 1/4 mile results...Don't be shy, I know some of you guys are holding out on this thread...Shame on you!!!!!!!!
