Which after market ecu vendor

sells a plug & play unit for a 1UZ

are there any besides motec, wolf, autronic, haltech

mail´ed them but none sell a direct plug in unit

Nothing will ever be a direct plug in, because there are too many different plug setups on the 1uz
All will require you to solder in the new harness (supplied with ECU) to the existing harness.

On top of that list is Microtech.

Most of the ones you listed will require extra items

But I know Microtech you can just wire it up, and drive off, it uses all the Toyota sensors, you just need to purchase a manifold air temp sensor for better tuning (not 100% required),

Reprogramming your ECU

Has anybody had any luck with sending their 1UZ OEM ECU off for reprogramming?

Harry Lemmen supposed to be the one... but no news yet... That project was due on Dec, 2003. Its called Flashed ECU.

Anybody have experiences with the
Selflearning Autronic SM2 Autotune ™.

My Karman Votex is not working very well ... it is not needed anymore if I change to Autronic SM2. Tune with PC and errors from PC

This email I got ... suggestions from Autronic...
" At least 300 of these (LS400) have been fitted with Autronic ECU's. They are very simple to tune and setup. You need two bosch ignition modules or a two channel CDI and a reluctor interface."

Just get it tuned properly

The MiNes ECU is a replacement ECU, but cannot be programmed. It gave me .55 seconds on the 1/4 mile and 9rwkw.
