sub oxy sensors V8

Hi
Need some info about sub oxygen sensors in v8. In uz1 we have 4 oxy sensors: two main before cats and two sub after cats. I do not understand reasons that 2 oxy sensors after cats... We have obd1 cars so for what are that two sub sensors?
They monitor cats conditions? what happen when I will remove cats?
Some of you have turbo setup on UZ. What are you done with that sub sensors?

I'm building two Cobra replicas with Lexus powerplants and the second set of sensors after the cats have been removed. Will this have any effect on the running and power of the car? I'd like to know as I will be reomoving the cats also once through our govt SVA test. Is it necessary to have the second set of sensors to run the car?
