powerglide behind a 1uz

just wondering if anyone has a powerglide behind a 1uz before and what bell housing or adaptor plate was used, your help would be greatly appreciated...

I used a Crown bellhousing then had a plate made to fit a 6 cylinder glide

I bought a Dellow Automotive (Revesby N.S.W.) bell housing to match the Powerglide to a 1UZ. These are two differing options. One probably a lot cheaper than the other but could be considered more fidley.

I went with the Dellow option and I am happy. It is pretty solid. I never had an original 1UZ bell housing to compare the two but it's a lot heavier than the 350 Chev bell housing (which is only covers 3/4 of the convertor so it should be lighter.)

I posted my thoughts on this bellhousing in this V8 Drivetrain fourm so do a search and you may find it. I can post some pics next week but I can't fit it to the engine as it up on the stand.
