Wanted Need SC400 Engine Acc Parts

Hi all,
I have an SC 400, 1995 transplant underway and I desparately need some parts from the front of a parts motor. My top front serpentine belt idler and my hydraulic pump pulley and input shaft are hopelessly bent. I do not need a functioning hydraulic pump, so if someone has a good shaft and pulley on a leaking pump, that would be fine. The idler and the attaching bolt were damaged also. I could also use some Air Conditioning hoses and a power steering pump pulley if available. The local yards will not part out engines. Help please!

use a shorter belt and totally remove hyd pump, thats what im doing, will know belt size in next week or so

You really need that hyd pump pulley there to get a better wrap around the crank pulley.
Otherwise you are only grabbing a small portion of it and slipping is very possible.

I think I might need it as well. I could use a LS 400 pulley I think, since I don't need the pump. Anybody know of an extra lurking in someone's garage?

Fly'nflow, I know this thread is old but did you end up using the LS pulley cause I have the same problem, worried about belt slipage.....Any thoughts my hydro pump took a dump and I need to bypass....

Yes I did use the LS pulley, and the hub assy. It worked well. I also put an idler pulley in place of the Power Steering pump. That worked well also.
