Hey guys, thought i'd show you what Ive been up to for the last week.
Component list goes something like this:
LS400 Front cut
HG Holden Ute
JJR 560 turbo
custom water/air intercooler
front rack conversion
rear crs sump
Adaptronic ecu.
techedge wideband o2
Nitrous express 150 shot
bosch 044 pump
custom surge tank
tail shaft loop
There is still a lot to do, still a lot to buy.
Still waiting for the sump and the rack, but the engine is in and i will fab some engine mounts and g'box crossmember this week.
The original v8 radiator will do the job ok.
The brakes are commodore 300mm units.
Diff is still not decided, most likely 9 inch, but maybe a borg warner unit if i can get one for the right price.
Commodore stud pattern all round, chaser rims on the back.
Aiming for about 500hp, with a decent low end so i can still tow the boat but also race.
Progress will be slow over xmas period due to extended hols and travel for work, but i expect to have it running early next year and registered not long after.
