Hi all,
I am currently in the middle of stripping down my 1 Uz-fe VVti and am cleaning it all up ready for the rebuild.
3 Questions, 1 I am fairly new to engine rebuilds so for a fast street tune (350 ish Hp) but with a long term view to supercharging what would you replace at this stage (bearing in mind I want to run it for around a year before I charge it) I know the rods are weak so looking to replace those but want to keep cost as low as possible for now
2, Can anyone recommend a supplier in the UK or any other supplier that has reasonable shipping costs and timescales to the uk?
3, is it worth getting the head ported at all? I have notice that on the exhaust side there is a lot of material wheere the ports connect to the manifold that could be removed but apart from that i'm not sure where to go with it

P.s. if anyone wants any pictures of a VVti engine in lots of pieces let me know as I have loads lol
