Hi,

I've got an '91 LS400's 1UZ-FE in my garage, along with a fish bracket (vintage ~2007), and a Vortech V1. In order to persuade them together, I need to find out the following info:

* Bolts to hold the s/c to the fish bracket
* spec of spacers to space the s/c from the fish bracket
* length / spec / part no of new drive belt

I've been searching but can't find a definitive answer. My problem is that I don't have a lathe either at home or at work and can't get to an engineering shop when they're open (Monday - Friday during office hours - when I'm at work).

So, what would be great is to get the spec of what I need from someone who's done this already (and there seem to be plenty of people who have), then get some ordered up over the internet or suchlike.

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

My solution, as jerry-rigged as it sounds, has been holding perfectly and solidly for months and thousands of miles.
I used home hardware store carriage bolts to mount and space the supercharger. I used nuts to secure the bolts on to the bracket. The thread is 3/8". I think mine was about four and a half inches. No spacers.
My new drive belt was about 113" but yours will definitely be very different. You need to tie a string around the pulleys to get an idea of belt length. Then you can order a standard belt by looking at belt part numbers. They are usually done by number of inches and ribs - such as 1130PK6 being the six-rib belt for 113" length applications.
Except for the charge pipes, supercharger, fish bracket, boost gauge and fuel pressure regulator, I was able to source ALL of the other supercharger parts for my projects locally. This included oil fittings, oil hoses, fuel hoses, all bolts, intake filter, and so on.

You just have to think outside the box.
