acceleration issues on gs400 vvti

hi guy i have been chasing down issues with this car since i bought it seems like once i fix one thing something else goes wrong cant win with this thing was having issues after i rebuilt the starter but ended up being the piggy back computer took that out ran great for a day went to drive it the next day and went to take off but it fell on its face and continued to stumble during acceleration but no codes are coming up tried to go get a new maf first thing since i have never replaced that but it did not fix the issue so i dont know what to check i am going to try and wire my fuel pump constant power with a switch instead of the stock voltage regulator since i am running a fpr with a fuel return line back to the tank. see how that goes but if anyone has had this issue and has fixed it please let me know what you found?
