You can chase all the capacity you want, unless you can make the heads flow 50% better you have an obstacle to any real performance gains.

Supposedly 1uz vvti heads with porting can get to 280-300CFM. I've heard the 1uz non-vvti heads are horrible and the number provided is 128cfm peak flow. That has to be impossible... But the guys in these chats keep saying they are completely horrible.

I looked very hard at doing a head swap with almost anything but couldn't come up with reversible heads with the correct bore spacing.

I was chasing 1,000hp with supercharging, intercooling and Meth Injection. Didn't even come close and spent a heap of money.
