Anyone know what would be the price of getting one of the new UR engines from the dealer? I would be interested to find. I am prepare to drop my jaw.

I ask today and they wasn't even sure on the price yet. But the parts manager told me it 8K for the block around the ball park. I'll update once I get the exact prices.

i think a C5.R block is around 8K. so that isn't really worth it unless you have some cash burning a hole in your wallet.

Funny you say so, I called the other day, it was like 12 grand used for a complete engine and that was if he could find one

I don't know about the short block?

Does anyone know the bore, stroke, compression ratio, etc on this motor?

Well the 4.7 is 13K new so I am sure that the 5.7 will cost at least that. By the way I couldnt find a price on the 5.7

I would assume complete engine would be very expensive. Look at this way. I called up a local Lexus dealer and inquired an AC compressor for a customer. Its $1,350 with out the clutch. So you can see how $$$$ really adds up.

Lextreme,

The cost of getting a complete longblock is about $9,500. I ordered mine 3 weeks ago and my dealer says it takes about 6 weeks to arrive.

Nice...... Wow.....

Wow thats a pretty darn good price since the 4.7L costs so much more 15,939 is the list price. I wonder how they can afford to sell the 5.7 for so much less than the 4.7

The price I got, is at cost. A very good friend of mine is a manager at a dealership, so it made the price a little more appealing.
