Hi guys, busy planning on putting a lexus motor into my 2002 Nissan Hardbody 3.3 v6. My main concern is, will the nissan gearbox not break with the v8 in and if so, how good is the auto box?Thanks for any replies.

the nisan boxes do not like shock, and will not hold up well. Those hardbody transmissions already have enough issues with the stock engine as is. Just use the toyota transmissions and you will be fine. It's not like it's much more work to do if you're already doing the engine swap.
