im waiting on my motor mounts before i can drop the motor in. the ones that came with the motor are shredded really bad. i decided to rip off some accesories to clean it up a bit.

i pulled off the distributors. i plan to run individual coils run by the aem if possible. does anyone know which path i would take to achieve this.
 
I'm thinking of remote mounting mine on the firewall and running individual leads for them.
 
The 2jz is a fantastic motor, but lacking in torque down low. Trust me, I run a GT47 88mm, and unless the turbo is on, the car is a dog. The V8 offers more TQ, high revs, quad cams, strength, and it frees up more room under the hood.

Nitrous takes care of all the above negatives of a 2jz with a 88mm turbo. The most fun I ever had with my supra was when it had a 63mm turbo on it and the least fun when it had a 76mm turbo on it.
I dunno about taking up less room under the hood. The only real advantage the toyota v8 has over the 2jz is torque.
