W58 clutch options.

What are you guys using? Organic? 6 puck, 4 puck, sprung unsprug?

I do understand what the different types are but I've never fitted one behind the 1uz not sure how much of a difference they will have on the 1uz.

I'm looking at the ACT clutches. Which one would you guys suggest for a stock 1uz. I'm also using a 3sgte flywheel/pressure plate.

I opted for a stock Toyota Hilux d4-d 40l raider clutch pack. This is from the DIESEL engine that is rated at a serious load of torque-400nm odd. I felt it would be sufficient for the stock engine. The plus side is that the spigot fits the clutch center hub . I also went for the centrifugal throwout bearing from Summit racing. The only snag to this is that the thrust bearing face is flat and to work with the Hilux setup, the bearing needs to be changed with a Toyota Canter throwout bearing.

Oh, and the clutch center is sprung...seriously so which is real good..

The diameter of the clutch plate is 260 mm.
