Just wondering if anyone can tell me what the tiny vacuum port on the rear of the 1UZ intake manifold is for. I've circled it in red in the pic. It sits next to the brake booster port.
I initially thought the small tube(red line) from the VSV near the fuel damper went to it(perfect length) but now I realise that tube must go to the charcoal canister instead. Thanks.

iv used it for the vacuum feed to my ecu for the map sensor. sorry i dont know what it originally went to. maybe drop by a lexus dealership and see if they'll let you pop a bonnet and have a look.

Cheers,
Seeing as my donor engine is from a JDM UZZ31 Soarer, I have a feeling it was used for some sort of option like the adjustable suspension.

Hi guys, i just had a look at my engine uuz31 soarer , i left all the extra stuff on it when i pulled it out of the car ,the vacuum feed goes to a small vacuum switch it sends the vacuum to a large diaphragm unit, this diaphragm pulls on a water valve to turn on or off the water to the heater.

Best regards
Lambo
