Hi Kelvin,

I saw your video on removing unnecessary vacuum lines from the 1uz. This video:


Thanks for posting it up, it was very useful. I have removed my VSV and the solid vacuum lines off the plenum. I've got a question, in the video you say "I'll do something better for sealing up the unused vacuum outlets" or words to that effect....

I've got the slightly bodgy "bit of tube with a screw in" in on my car. This works, but I'd be interested to know what you suggest for doing this properly / permanently, and where I could source whatever fitting you recommend. (btw my engine is an early 1UZ - non vvti).

Any suggestions appreciated!

Looking at my spreadsheet, I had 4 of these caps. I think these covered the smaller diameter vacuum lines and I think I used an aftermarket one for the purge line (although, I intend to hook that up once I get a canister installed).

The cap for the coolant lines to the EGR and throtttle body is 9033907001
