Used the chassis rails and strut towers from the soarer and grafted it into the PT uses front alloy x beam a arms engine mounts just used some Supra platforms to get ride hight lower
rear done the same grafted rear towers and chassis rails uses diff and standard toyota subframe withs suspension
Good work getting all of that under the hood of your PT. I have no excuse not to turbo my UZ now. Excellent work. I'm sure you are happy with 10psi. Is that the boost level you leave it set at all the time? Are you happy with the size of your intercooler? That's the best PT Cruiser I have ever seen.
Intercooler worked fine one the road but arround town and waiting in the heat at the drag strip it increased the temp for a short time
have changed to a water/air cooler which i run a ice tank for drags or a
rad and fan for the road
the shorter piping makes the biggest diff not that it needed any more power down low
run 10lbs all the time have to controll boost with the foot
no point in having adjustable as it tuned to take it and when u want the power its there
No the LS is a pig of a thing to remount into another car
SC400 is same as soarer also components shared Supra 80 series
all mounts are of the alloy X member so all thats needed is a strut tower and sway bar mounts
