That's the 2nd or maybe the 3rd time it's been listed. I've been trying to get the owner to join Lextreme and post some more pics and the story of its build.

Maybe we can help him sell it; it looks like one really nice motor.

I'm curious as to why he talks about it being used in an aeronautical application.

I'm reading that a bit differently than you. He says he copied the exhaust system from an Aero Commander which uses a flat 8 motor (this is a V8). He didn't actually say this motor is used in aeronautical applications (although it is).

Do a search on this site using "aircraft" and you'll see several threads about 1UZ's in experimental aircraft.

I think this is one sweet motor. Wish I had room for it, but I've already got (2) Lexi V8's, and (3) BMW V12's in the stable.

it's built for a boat - essentially you're paying 4k for the turbos and engine coz the manifolds are useless.
