surf wiring to lexus v8

Hi does anyone have a wiring diagram for the 2.4td surf to 1uz in surf? So I can wire my lexus v8 to my surf the right way.

there is the factory toyota workshop manual somewhere in my office hehe
but it would cost more to buy the diagrams than to pay someone to wire it up

anyway there is afew problems with surfs depending which way u plan to go

if u use orig surf gbox with orig surf auto/4wd ecu then u loose a special signal to the ecu that comes form the 2.4 ecu and it stops the auto from kicking down gears
if yr going manual its abit easier

only prob u got to look out fo ris make sure u hook the 4wd wiring back up

they are not the easiest to do in order to get everything to work properly

the 2 1uzs ive done in 2.4d surfs both would not kick down gears cause they ran the surf auto
one of the guys got the shitz and eventually went manual

anyway u dont need diagrams just get yr multimeter and start probing

ok thats the best way
just means u have to stuff aorund sorting the 4wd stuff out on the transfer
as the surf auto ecu also controls the 4wd side of it
someone on here showed how to connect 6 relays to get the electric motor on the transfer to work if u have an electric one

i once downloaded a surf workshop manual but it was in russian

do you know if anyone makes exhaust headers that i can buy? Do you have dimensions for engine mounts?

honestly y do u want engine mount dimensions

here is what u do in 4 steps

cut big rectangles that bolt onto engine 4 bolts they should have

cut plates that match up the face of the rubber mount should have hoile for the stud coming off the engine mount

now fit enigne in best position and bolt plates on and then make the triangular shapes that link the 2 plates together out of cardboard and once u get them close make them, out of metal

now tack together and remove and weld
ive been doing converisons for 15 years and mounts are the easiest part
except for filling up with fuel

they are a pain if u go the wrong way
u will not get the kick down of gears automatically if u use surf auto
casue the surf auto has its won ecu which does the 4wd electronically
so just adds another prob when wiring

I want to run the lexus auto.I hear there is a lot of relays for the 4wd to work.Thanks

well u can use the surf auto/4wd ecu to just turn on the 4wd selector motor

then use the lexus ecu to do the engine /gbox

like i said its not a straight forward job and without car infront of me
because so much needs integrating

if someone sat down they can figure it out just takes time and info

i can but wont garrantee everythign will work
i canget enigne running no problem and auto to change gears
but if u mate the 1uz auto to the surf transfer u know u have to refit the rear speed sensor on back of 1uz box to the surf transfer
or u can run a signal modifier/divider of yr factory surf speedo sensor on back of box
yr tacho in the dash needs to be modified to suit a 4cyl ecu tacho signal
by the time u get it back it will cost u around 1000 to 1500 aussie dolalrs all up including freight both ways

last time i sent big parcel to usa cost customer 130 aussie dollars

u will need to change yr oil press sender from surf 2lt to 1uz engine

temp sender is ok

then u need to wire up thermo fans
u need to wire up the alternator
surf alt is on left i think
1uz is on right so u need to lengthen wires
battery needs to be on left hand side as air box goes on right
