Hi all, Just removed the air con system from the supra and the v8 engine and i was just wondering what belt size, and or what part number i require for a belt to fit now the pump is removed, dont fancy measuring it and getting it wrong.

PeeWee has listed a belt that is 1615mm in length = 63.58"
Belts are usually listed by rows "6" and length either mm or inches where inches are usually rounded and the above inch equivilant would probably be a 6-0635

You can always take a longer than needed used belt, cut it, route it, move the tensioner to just past half its range or to its normal installed position, and mark the point. Take it to any parts store and you should have no trouble getting the right length.

When looking at the front of the engine this is how it goes.

From the right hand side of the crank pulley go up the left side of the fan idler then over the top of the top idler then over the steering pump then traight down and around the alternator, up and over the tensioner and back to the crank pulley.

Hi,
As much as i know 3/4-inch-wide belt and 63.58 inches long belt is suitable for v8 engines.
You can have this from any local auto parts store of your area very easily.
Thanks
