I wish I could take a few days of sick leaves to finish this...LOL. Building the downpipe & the wastegate pipe will be faster than the manifold because there's more room to work around.
Gents,
I'm having a little update. The turbo is inside the engine bay. I'll post other pictures when the downpipe is done and the car is running.
The project is still rolling. The manifold and wastegate are completely done. I'm currently building a downpipe for it and 1/2 of it is done.Have you made any progress on this in the past couple weeks? It looks like it is really coming along. You should be torching the roadways in no time.
How much power do you think you will be able to manage with the stock injectors on stock compression? Are you intending to run the stock ECU for the first stage of your build? Do you have any boost controller in your set up?
I feel the same about you, too. I miss the twin beautiful long hair "DD" series turbos that you had in your previous picture. :bigeyes:Can't wait to see it running Steve...I am excited for you.

A little update. The downpipe & complete exhaust system are done. Driver size of the intercooler is done. Next week will be complete with the intercooler's passenger size, along with the fuel pump & the FMU, and hopefully the oil lines.
1 thing that scared me is that I found the front & rear bumper reinforcement bars are missing. I think the body shop who installed the body kit didn't put them back. I'm so lucky that I wasn't involved in any front & rear accidents. I won't go back to that shop again.
Do any of you who knows a place that sells used reinforcement bars & the foams?
I think the core is 27" x 3".Hi mate, can i ask how big that intercooler is?? looking good![]()
