sc400 vs g35

just raced a auto g35 from a 20mph roll to a 100.i was happy with the out come. i hit it a spilt second before him,got about a 1/4-1/2 car jump stayed that way till 100.tried to get him to go again,but no game.

What year is your SC400?

its a 95 with full custom 2 1/2" exhaust from the front cats back,x-pipe,bfi and no spare,jack weight reduction. s&s headers are on the way.

The G35 is good kill for an 95 SC400 with just exhaust mods ( and no headers)... Your lucky you started from a roll without the TC upgrade...

My best friend has a G35 Infinity and I take him every time without the use of nitrous...I don't blow him away though but I do pull away in all gears...

My buddy has a G35 Infinity and I smoke him every time 0-60mph no nos either...With nos it's a joke...

The G35's really aren't that fast...However, Infinity is doing alot better with their new G37 model..It's a bit peppier with like 50 more Hp's...

Actually the 2007-2008 G35 sedan is a lot quicker than the coupe G35. It has 306 hp with around 3500 lbs comparing to the older G35 coupe that has 280 hp with similar weight. I assume the new G35 could be at 320 hp for the weight of the SC400. The SC weighs 3750 lbs. As rated by the factory, the new G35 runs 5.9 second for 1/4 mile, while the 95-96 SC runs 6.7 seconds for 1/4 mile. This is a huge difference, so watch out for the new G35 or the G37. Nissan doesn't make new coupe G35.

The Nissan 350z have been compared to the G35's, but every year the Nissan 350z is much faster...

Now I also raced the 350z's with no nos...I was neck and neck with the dude the whole way, so that is clear evidence that the g35's are simply much slower then the 350z's... And yes my friends G35 is the first year rated at 280hp's...I hope the newer models are faster because I am not impressed with the older ones...My friend just sold it for $17,000 with 35,000 miles on it and is happier then ever.....

Not a big fan of the Nissan G models... The G37 is ok though, but I would go with 350z's all day long...
