power steering plumbing

hi, im trying to plumb up my 1uz stering pump to a hilux steering box.on the pump there is 2 inlets and 2 out outlets. the smaller one being at the rear. ive caped off the front section and intend to use the rear. is this the rite thing to do? im wondering if the front section will seize as it isnt being used or do i have to have a seprate resovior just circulating oil threw it? any help please thanks

where do u have 2 in and 2 out

my hilux just needed afew 1 foot long hoses

hi press out from pump to box
then return from box the low press into back of resevior

pump and res is on drivers side and sterring box is on drivers side right next to pump its pisss easy to do

at the rear of the pump there is 2 inlets one around 3/4 and the other about 1inch then 2 outlets of the same size.

u must have a weird power steering pump
its not a normal 1uz non vvti type
sounds like its of a 4wd or something
u might have to pull it apart and remove the rear circuit
or get a pump from a normal 1uz

yes maby its just like a secondary housing with another inlet and out let, would anyone have pics on what a normal one looks like? or how they plumbed theirs up. thanks gys.

Sure it isn't a UZZ32 with the active suspension.

Whole different ball ame that engine.

I've only ever seen "one in one out" pumps on normal 1UZ's but the active suspension version is totally different in the front of the engine.
