Port/Polish worth the money?

Hey guys planned upgrades for this motor are simply to do the headers and maybe port/polish the heads. Theres a guy doing real good jobs quite cheap for around $750, but its the cambelt on/off and dissembling head thats kind of putting me off. Anyone else had it done and had a good gain from it? Thanks
 
If you put the time into it.. Yes...
Port the lower section of inlet and add stronger valve springs...
At Least 80Lb seat pressure..
With new cam belt.. Timing is easy.. I would mark timing before taking apart though..

Aha yea .. New belts have the timing marks on them...
Much easier than using the backing plates as markers...
It should still have them ?? Or with white out..
Add your own temp timing marks..
