Required pins for the obd2 port for a 3uz vvti ecu

Good gentlemen
I have a 3uz vvti inside a land rover defender, I am trying to get my diagnostic tool ( launch c123x )to connect to the ecu but to no prevail. Please if anyone has any info it would be really appreciated.

that would depend on which ecu your 3uz runs. Early is k-line with one comms line, later is canbus with two.

Hi thats the thing , I bought the engine and ecu from v8 solid. And now when I plugged my diagnostic tool in it doesn't read the obd2 or ecu protocols.

Why not redirect your question to V8 solid? We didn't sell you that crap and we don't know how bad it really is
