NSW rego for conversions

Just a quick question,

I know that for the air bagging i want to do for my hilux/tacoma i need to get an ICV (Individually Constructed Vechile) done to get rego in NSW.

Just wondering if anyone knows if the engine size of the 1uz transplant i intend to do will also require the same certificate. The cost difference between getting an alteration cert and a ICV is dramatic.

If it does i will get it all done in one go.

I don't think you would need to go down the ICV path. I am assuming the vehicle has a vin. If so you would only need an engineer to check the mods for certification. Go to the NSW RTA webiste and have a look for an engineer near to you. My advise is to give them a call to find out exactly what is required. I can give you details of a good engineer if you need them.
