Hi from new member Kenny in Adelaide, Australia...

1996 UZZ31 Soarer, black paint & interior, stock standard including exhaust! 244,000 km's​

Replacing worn out suspension next week. Any recommendations on engine upgrade specialists in Adelaide? I am new to Toyota V8 & Soarer's in general..best regards...KT. (P.S...I'm 60 years old with prostate cancer so I want to enjoy the car as much as possible)

Hi Kenny, I hope you have lots of time to enjoy. Get it serviced, drop into an exhaust shop and have them fit a twin 2.25" system. Fit a K&N air filter and run it on 98. That should give you reliable cruzer.

Welcome.

One thing the 1UZ isn't good at is responding to upgrades.

Unless you want to spend heaps on forced induction just enjoy the car as it was designed. A gentleman's cruiser.

Hi, I am willing to spend $$$ but realize I also need better bottom end, rods & low comp. pistons + probably trans, diff & brake upgrades! Look - the car was cheap to buy, the interior is superb & everything works. So even if I spend a bit of cash, I am still O.K rather than paying crazy prices just to purchase an alternative V8 coupe...many thanks Zuffen.
