LSD differential ..

The seller show me in the yard a differential comes fro Aristo 2JZ-GTE VVVTI … The question is: 1) how can I know if it is LSD without open it ?. 2) How to know its really comes from Aristo (JZS161) ?

As far as I know, with the axle assembly raised with no load on the wheels or hubs.
If you turn one wheel on a limited slip diff the other wheel will turn in the same direction.
If you turn one wheel on an open centre differential the other wheel turns in the opposite direction.

That is correct.... LSD both axles turn the same, non they turn opposite... I didn't know the Aristo's come with a stock LSD... Is that a torsen torque sensing LSD?
