At the dealer parts dept yesterday and they were rebuilding an LS460 engine that had dropped a valve and windowed the block 
The exhaust mid pipe from the front cats, includes the X pipe and the middle cats looks to be of 60mm (2.36") slightly larger than dual 2.25" for an engine that is larger, revs higher and makes 102hp more than my VVTi. Another example of why 2.5" on an early 1uz makes no sense from a power and torque curve standpoint.
