Lexus announced their new flag ship coming next year with an all new V8 4.6 liter motor.

This fall, the all-new 2007 LS 460 will completely redefine luxury the world over. Take off with a 380 horsepower [1], 4.6-liter direct-injection V8 and the world's first eight-speed automatic transmission, launching you from 0-60 MPH in less than 5.5 seconds [1]. There's also an available Lexus voice-activated HDD Navigation System [2] with Bluetooth® [3] technology (standard on LS 460L). Inside is genuine wood trim, supple leather trim and the resonant 19-speaker Mark Levinson® Reference Surround Sound System [4] (available on LS 460 and 460L). An 8-gigabyte audio server is available. Another first for Lexus will be the availability of the LS in both a standard- and long-wheelbase (LS 460L) model. For rear passengers of the 460L, available amenities include a center console table, climate-comfort seats and a rear-seat massager (right rear seat only). A Premium Four-Passenger Seat package with Rear-Seat Entertainment DVD System is available for the long-wheelbase model (LS 460L). The new LS-luxury that knows no borders.

Notice there is a L version of the LS460? As you know L stands for Lextreme...LOL

I wish you would keep these things to yourself!!!! :veryhappy I just had to call my Lexus dealer in Augusta and told her to set me up with one when they come in. Will trade in my wife's 06 GS 430. Gorgeous car...especially with 380 hp :redface: :redface:

Not sure what the pricing is yet. 06 is around $62K so I wouldn't expect the 07 to go much higher than $70K.

If you have never heard a Mark Levinson sound system in a vehicle you are in for a treat!!!!! It's AWESOME! My wife's 06 GS 430 has 14 speakers in that little thing and you have got to hear it to believe it! Superb ultra-tight bass from everywhere it seems, surround sound, 330 watts, etc. Levinson is the same guy who designs home systems in the $30K to $40K range.......) Take a listen if you haven't heard. Had the same system in our LS 430 but didn't seem to sound quite as good, although it was still pretty awesome.

I agree with Wayne about the GS audio system. The bass is freaking amazing,it's the best sounding system in the Lexus line in my ears' opinion.

Wayne may probably the first one here to own the 07 LS,but I'll probably be the first to prep and drive one

And if you guys think that 4.6 engine is impressive,there's another V8 that Lexus is releasing

The old Nakamichi sound systems weren't too bad either....Lexus has always been known for their outstanding stock sound systems....I road in a 100k + Porsche C4, Z06 Vette, and AMG E55, those cars systems are not any better then my original stock 1992 SC400 Nakamichi sound system....I have upgraded that stock system since but it was pretty damn good at stock new...Just my two cents...

PS. I am a contractor and have plenty of spare buckets if anyone needs one....:slaphappy

I dunno bout that quebec.. Bang is pretty sweet, but at least in terms of home audio, they are still a few notches below Mark Levinson. If that carrys over to the auto, they will just be a good #2.
