How about an LT1 vette engine with the Th400 tranny swap.....That may be a first...and it just may fit....

Is that the mazda rotory engine you are thinking of swaping? Keep in mind what ever engine you decide to swap in you are are going to need a custom adapter plate to hook up with the stock tranny....Tricky, not easy to find or make....
