Hey every one, just after some information on the JP exhaust system. I can’t seem too find that much info on it.



I’m after things like size? Is it loud or quiet? On the JP-USA site they have listed a few options, any one know what the options included?

Just get a couple of Magnaflow mufflers and leave the labelled stuff to the ricers.

Not a fan of Magnaflow mufflers. Pretty biased towards pre made, proven performance off the self exhausts.

Each to there own I guess, I’m just a label whore haha.. That and I like the "VIP" style of muffler

Anything 'proven' can easily be faked.
Just because they prove 10rwkw gain doesn't mean its legit.

I've had both Lukey and Magnaflow on the 1uz, and the note from the Magnaflow shits all over the Lukey, which got very raspy in the top end.

I agree not all "proven" KW claims can be legit, however they did me well on two of my past cars, which were both 500rwhp +. I was highly disappointed on custom-made systems for much less hp cars I've had. I guess it comes down to the builder, and mufflers. I live in a coastal town with very little performance specialist, which I’m sure, comes into play with past experience.



I have even thought of maybe getting just the style of muffler I want, and getting a decent system made (again).. As I’m really just after the muffler.

Suggestions on pipe work?? I have duel 2 ¼ now, with one-inch balance pipe with two basic sports type mufflers.
