Looking for an early ISCV.

I think I have a late model ISCV on my motor (3/4" inlet, can't be removed from housing/bracket), and I'm not sure if the ecu can control it properly (I'm having idling issues).

LMK.

Or alternatively if someone could test an early ISCV like this

And let me know which order you have to pulse S1, S2, S3, S4 to get it to go out/in that would be great.

From memory I tested one ages ago, and you pulse S1, S2, S1, S2 etc to get it to go out, and S3, S4, S3, S4 etc to get it to go in.
At least, thats from memory.

Thanks.

Just been through all this with my set up.

There is something screwy with these ISCV's

Adaptronic set up. http://www.adaptronic.com.au/forum/index.php?topic=763.0

Pulse s1 s2 s3 s4 and reverse does make it go in and out but when you use the hold function ( 2 coils at a time ) it only works s1 s2 s4 s3 in sequence.

I can get a hold of a spare one or you can try mine if you like, I know mine is working perfectly.

I managed to get an early 1UZ ISCV and test it.

It did the in/out thing like I remembered.

Then I tested the one I had put on the car (presumably late model) and nothing happened. Either it was cactus (unlikely) or it works completely different.

Either way, installed the older model one, and idle is much better.
